I first heard of Stan Romanek when I found the video of his 'peeping tom' alien on youtube. Then last year his documentary 'Extraordinary' was put on Netfllx. Both were very intriguing, to say the least.
This year I have decided to read more books, so I bought 'Messages'. Having watched the documentary, I found that I knew a good portion of the book already, but it was still an enjoyable read.
Now I like to think my attitude towards the paranormal is I don't believe most of it, but I'm open to it. I do like to go ghost hunting and have caught an odd thing or two but that hasn't convinced me there are ghosts everywhere. Like with this book, I find it very hard to believe that it's all fact, but I am definitely intrigued by it.
Saying that, the book does have some things that don't add up to me. Like how the E.T.s can fly across the universe but they allow themselves to be photographed countless times. Stan also writes that a lot of things that 'ghost hunters' see as proof of their existence, he thinks are actually aliens. Things like orbs and shadow people are apparently extraterrestrial.
After reading it, all I can say is at the very least, it was a very enjoyable read. At the most it's a earth shattering story that proves we're not alone in the universe. I would recommend this book, but anyone new to Stan's story should probably read this book first before watching the documentary.
